Another opportunity to explore, uncover secrets, and generally get creeped out in the world of DREDGE
To keep this short and pretty sweet without giving anything of note away, think of this as an expansion that adds a new zone very similar to those in the original game. Complete with its own specialized gear, underwater threats, and secrets to uncover, it will give you another small handful of hours to enjoy. On a positive note, since I’d somehow lost my beefy save file, I actually had to start out from scratch to play it, essentially just upgrading my engines so I could get there safely before nightfall, and didn’t feel terribly under-powered for tackling it. Larger capacity, better equipment, and a few special skills would have helped but they weren’t necessary, meaning you can pretty well tackle it at any time without having already beat the game. While it doesn’t revolutionize anything, it’s still a great excuse to return to this top-tier title.
